The most obvious symptom of infection with Borrelia bacteria is the presence of round or oval spots of deep red color in the area of the tick bite. This spot may rapidly increase in size, reaching a diameter of 10 cm.
After a while the stain is covered with a thin crust, after 30 days it disappears, leaving in its place a small scar. But this is not the worst, after a few weeks begin to show neurological, joint, skin and cardiac signs of Lyme disease, namely radiculopathy, sleep disturbances, pain in the chest, “twisting” of the knee, shortness of breath, increased heart rate, chronic atrophic acrodermatitis.
