The first mention of strawberries as medicinal plants, can be found in ancient literature. Many people know about the beneficial properties of berries, but not all are used for the treatment of decoctions and infusions prepared from the leaves, for which special attention should be paid to hypertensive and people with cardiovascular diseases.
The berries contain vitamins C, A and B6, as well as tannin and pectin, acid, phosphate salts, essential oil, iron, and calcium. The composition of the leaves of the plant included askorbinata acid, aromatic substances, alkaloids and tannins.
1. To prepare an infusion of berries, take 6 tbsp of the fruit of the strawberries and pour 250 ml of boiling water, then leave for 8-10 hours, strain and take 100 ml twice a day.
2. To prepare a decoction of the leaves take a tablespoon of raw pour a glass of boiling water, put on fire half an hour, filtered and drink throughout the day.
3. For arrhythmia and heart failure, pour a glass of vodka 1 tbsp of leaves, steep for weeks, then strain and take 40 drops three times a day.
4. To reduce fever, it is recommended to use the infusion, prepared according to the following recipe: take 1 tablespoon of leaves pour a glass of boiled water for about 20 minutes, take 4 times a day for 100 ml.
5. To improve liver function, eat daily for 120 gr. berries.
